Giek_1’s transformative and mind-expanding live show, ‘OWN REALITY,’ tells a story of hope and strength in the midst of the escapism and passion fueled confusion of our generation. With her unique blend of experimental pop and deconstructed club sound, she creates a captivating atmosphere that transcends traditional boundaries and opens a portal into the hidden powers of the Universe. The mesmerizing lyrics, both raw and ethereal, offer insight into deep metaphysical knowledge. By rejecting oppressive authority and embracing different aspects of the self, Giek_1 provokes the audience to confront their own limits and embark on a journey of self-realization to discover their true identity. She also aims to make the audience aware of patterns or behaviors that may stem from trauma, and helps them integrate shadow aspects from previous lives, leading them closer to their authentic selves.
The shamanic-like ritual transports participants to an altered state of consciousness, invoking a trance-like state that fosters catharsis and collective healing. Surrendering to the divine, the performance delves into different realities, symbolizing cycles of death and rebirth. Ultimately, it challenges attendees to reconsider the illusion of separation and contemplate the nature of existence on a profound level, right on the dance floor.
Reflections (2026)
OWN REALITY emerged during one of the most transformative periods of my life. At the time I understood the work as an exploration of identity, addiction, perception and the process of rebuilding myself after years of self-destruction.
Over the years, as my artistic practice evolved into researching recurring symbolic and karmic patterns across history, I began to recognize that this work was also engaging with questions I could not yet consciously articulate. Within my current framework, I see it as part of a much deeper process of healing and transformation—one that, to me, seems to extend beyond a single lifetime.
Whether interpreted psychologically, symbolically or spiritually, OWN REALITY became an important threshold. Rather than being the destination itself, it marked the beginning of a much larger investigation into memory, identity, reincarnation and the invisible patterns that shape our lives.
Interestingly, I also began to understand why my gradually moved away from pursuing a conventional music career. Music never disappeared—it simply became one language within a much broader artistic practice that now includes performance, installations, research, writing, astrology and the Soul Constellation Map. Looking back, it feels as though each project was quietly preparing the ground for the next.
